Cahuita - House

Located in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo, just 250 meters from the beach. Beach access is by walking through a neighborhood trail; you must cross Route 256 and, about 50 meters further, you will find the pedestrian entrance to the beach. The walk takes approximately 5 minutes on foot.

Ideal for families.

The property offers a private pool, tropical garden, terrace with outdoor dining area, equipped kitchen, living room and indoor dining room. It is an independent house on a private property; no areas are shared.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The house has three spacious bedrooms, with two king beds, one queen bed, two sliding trundle beds and one loft-style single bed. Each bedroom with a king bed includes a sliding trundle bed underneath the main bed, ideal for parents to sleep close to small children.

There is also a sofa bed in the private studio for additional sleeping space. We have a pack 'n play and a high chair for families traveling with small children.

The property has two full bathrooms and a half bathroom next to the pool.

Outdoor spaces

The house has a private garden, pool and terrace next to the pool with outdoor dining area.

Indoor spaces

The house includes a fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining room and living room.

Cleaning service

For reservations of one week or more, a weekly cleaning with laundry service is included.

Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, including the bedrooms, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and private terrace. The property also features outdoor areas surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, ideal for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful Caribbean atmosphere.

The house is located in Playa Chiquita, Puerto Viejo, a few minutes' walk from the beach and close to local restaurants, small convenience stores, and essential services. Access to the property is easy and convenient by car, bicycle, or on foot.

I offer remote check-in, with assistance available until 6:00 p.m. On arrival day, as check-in time approaches, I send a video, photos, and detailed instructions.

I am available for inquiries from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Guests are expected to be independent during their stay. In case of a major emergency, they should call 911.

Due to the natural environment, it is normal to hear wildlife sounds and see insects occasionally; this is part of the authentic Costa Rican Caribbean experience.

Guests are kindly asked to respect the neighborhood and help maintain a peaceful environment. Parties and loud music are not permitted.

To explore the area, we recommend getting around by bicycle or car, which makes it easy to visit nearby beaches such as Playa Cocles, Punta Uva, and Manzanillo, as well as downtown Puerto Viejo.
